Arrive Jhansi and drive to Khajuraho (175 kms, 04 hrs drive) en route visit Orcha which is set on an island on a bend in the Betwa River, Orchha was built when the Bundela rulers were at their peak. Once the capital of its own state, it contains three palaces. The most impressive is the Jahangir Mahal, built in 17th century, synthesizes the Hindu and Muslim styles. Orchha is an excellent example of a medieval fort palace; within the turreted walls are gardens, gateways and pavilions as well as numerous temples. Durbar square, royal residential quarter of Bhupendra Malia, temple of Natyapole in pagoda style and other temples. Pashupatinath – The Varanasi of Nepal is the most revered shrine of Shiva sited on the banks of the sacred Bagmati. While non Hindus are not permitted inside the temple precincts – a walk in the environs is a richly rewarding experience of colour and custom. Overnight.

Afternoon sightseeing tour of New Delhi – Also known as the Lutyen’s Delhi, it was the capital of the British Empire and is a contrast to Old Delhi. Some important sights that come under the area of New Delhi include Qutub Minar – the tallest stone tower in India built in 1199; and India Gate – the War Memorial Arch. Drive past the President’s Estate and Parliament buildings, through Diplomatic Enclave and Connaught Place, main commercial centre of Delhi. Overnight.
